M1 Visa

Since the terror attacks of September 11th, the United States INS has stated that ANYONE who arrives in America whose MAIN intent for the trip is for flight training MUST have a valid M-1 Training Visa or run the risk of detention and deportation. This is strictly enforced regardless of what you may be told. If your MAIN reason for the trip is to have a holiday with your family then you are not required to have a visa if you decide you MAY want to fly a few hours while your family are doing other things.

To be eligeble to a M-1 Visa, you will need to fill out a M-1 Training Visa application form, as well as Booking form. Please complete and return these forms, via email or fax - (305) 871-5272. Once we have received the forms our visa department will process the application and then FedEx the paperwork to you within 3 - 5 working days. This paperwork must be placed with your passport and sent to the American Embassy. From receiving the passport and paperwork the Embassy has been taking approximately 10 working days to return your passport with visa enclosed.
